Lynn Cheney owned Worcester’s locally sourced grocer, Maker to Main which was the evolution Lettuce Be Local Central Massachusetts Food Hub, from 2012 - 2024. Prior to entrepreneurship, Lynn spent over a decade in event planning as Director of Sales and Catering for upscale hotels in New England. The recipient of multiple leadership awards: 2015 Women in Action Inc. Award, WBJ’s 2015 40 Under Forty, the Corridor Nine Chamber of Commerce 2015 Champion of Education Award and 2014 President’s Award, of which she served as chairperson of the Young Professionals chapter for eight years and WBJ’s 2018 Top 50 Power Players Recognition. Recently, was appointed to the Worcester Now Next City Planning Guide to engage the community in shaping the future of Worcester's economic growth and development.
