The Future of Heating/Cooling Refrigerant Systems: The Ever-Changing Phases of Refrigerants!
On January 18th at 5pm BEC welcomes you to the next Building Performance NEXUS in person networking and learning session: The Future of Heating/Cooling Refrigerant Systems: The Ever-Changing Phases of Refrigerants!
Come chill with us for this hot topic at the BEC NEXUS! We are looking forward to seeing everyone for food, beverages, networking, and learning! If you have not signed up yet and would like to join in, below is the sign-up link, please sign up in advance so that we can prepare for the number of people joining in on the fun, food, and beverages:
This month we will have, not one, not two, but THREE presenters addressing our featured topic: Catie Ball of Trane, JS Rancourt of DXS New England, and Mike Ragan of Mitsubishi Electric for a discussion on refrigerant types, changing regulations and phasing out of refrigerants. The presenters will also highlight the best of existing heat pump technology for New England applications. And…. if the audience heckles nicely a sneak peek into what new heat pump technology they’ll be bringing to the market for the electrification effort!
We are very excited and grateful to have such great speakers joining us at the Building Performance NEXUS! Please come with your curiosity and your questions.
More on our presenters:

JS is a mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, and in 2012 co-founded DXS Ontario, based in Toronto, Canada. JS has been applying ASHPs and VRV/VRF technology in cold climates for 11 years and spearheaded the largest VRV project in North America at the time with over 1,400 VRV units. JS moved to New England in 2016 and founded the local branch of DXS out of Peabody, MA. JS primarily works with consulting engineers and building owners, and prides himself on educating the industry on topics such as ASHPs, VRF, refrigerants and strategic electrification of HVAC.
