Bookkeeper

Sullivan Group is looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to work within our accounting department at our insurance agency’s headquarters in Worcester, MA.  Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of insurance or general bookkeeping experience.  They must be able to work independently in the department and be a team player interacting with others in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable
• Daily Cash Reports
• Daily Deposits
• Commissions Receivable
• Accounts Payable
• Processing Finance Agreements
• Agency Licensing

Requirements

• Proven bookkeeping experience
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Associate degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, or related work experience
