ABOUT CASA AND THE COMMUNITY IMPACT SPECIALIST ROLE: CASA Project Worcester County provides a highly specialized volunteer service to abused and neglected children who are involved in the juvenile court system. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a national organization with over 900 local programs across the country whereby volunteer advocates are recruited, trained, and supervised by program staff. CASA advocates are considered to be the eyes and ears of the court in child abuse
